It is a world of brushed steel, white marble, and glass. The scientists wear suits of "Clean-Weave" silk that repel all dust and magical interference.
The Scent: Clinical, sharp, and totally devoid of humanity. It smells like bleach and "New Plastic."
The Tech: This is where the Sovereign Mk. IV Focus-Relays are calibrated. Everything is ergonomic, wireless, and terrifyingly efficient.
- Geographical Utility The "Zero-Room": A chamber at the center of the lab where the laws of physics are completely suspended. It is used to test how much "tension" a human soul can take before it snaps into a [[The_silennt_guards|Silent Guard]] or a Static Wraith.
The Forge: This is where the [[Ninth_Knot_Syndicate|Syndicate]] manufactures its illegal "Resonance-Spike" pills and the "Null-Iron" armor for the Guard.
- Narrative Significance The Source of Trauma: This is the place where [[Alistair_Penhaligon|Alistair]] was "integrated" as Prototype Zero. Returning here triggers his "Flicker" to dangerous levels, as the building's own resonance "remembers" him and tries to pull him back into the machines.
